Bramham Parish Council – Neighbourhood Plan Steering Committee

Minutes of Meeting – Thursday 13 September 2012

Cllr Keith Innocent (Chair), Cllr Val Whitbread (Secretary), Cllr Martin Batt,
Neil Ferres,  John Whitbread,Dean Burdall.

1. Apologies/New Member

Apologies received from Nick Lane Fox and John Lynch.

The Steering Committee was very pleased to welcome a new member, Dean Burdall, who had visited the community Conference and become interested in the Neighbourhood Plan.

2. Minutes of last meeting

Minutes of 30 April were accepted.

3. LCC Site Allocation

Keith advised that LCC have requested feedback on the selected SHLAA sites by 3 October.  At a meeting last week between Parish Councils and Ward Councillor John Proctor and Andrew Birbeck many Parish Councillors from various parishes had expressed their frustration with this, given that they had expected this feedback not to be needed until it could be provided as part of the Neighbourhood Plan. However LCC will not change the date and if we do not respond we will have missed the opportunity.
The Neighbourhood Plan will still be relevant as it will deal with type of housing and other issues.
It was agreed to produce and issue a leaflet asking for feedback by 1 October, on the SHLAA sites and also to ask for feedback in the Parish Magazine (accepting that there will be very little, if any, time in between issue of the magazine and the deadline).

4. Feedback From the Community Conference

We were unsure where the feedback had been kept but since the meeting Cllr Mackie has retrieved it and the consolidated note of responses.
