PRESENT: John Lynch (Chair), Neil Ferres, Val Whitbread, Dean Burdall, Paul Marshall,
John Whitbread, Stuart Moore, John Tritchler APOLOGIES: Nick Lane Fox 1. Apologies: Nick Lane Fox 2. Notes of previous meeting: Notes accepted as accurate. 3. Site allocations update: At the LCC meeting the Headley site had been referred back to officers for further consideration. The outcome will be known 12 Feb. 4. Barwick & Scholes liaison: John L had attended the NP consultation meeting and obtained samples of their NP literature. John L reported that B&S were not as supportive of Headley as had been thought, but Dean pointed out that their PC minutes show support. 5. Headley – case against: It was agreed that the group needs to be collectively comfortable with any case made and that tasks should be assigned within categories as follows: Strategic issues – John L Site specific issues – Neil (historic buildings) & Stuart (agriculture) Local community impact – Dean to look at schools Then all would need to consider a critical appraisal. 6. Headley campaign issues: It was agreed to defer further discussion on consultation & engagement with residents until the next meeting when the outcome of LCC’s further consideration of Headley is known. 7. PC references: The group will report regularly to the Parish Council and attend as necessary. 8. AOB Proposed solar energy farm – several members are likely to attend the consultation. NP equipment/displays – Neil offered to remove the equipment from the Village Hall to the Red Lion. Next Meeting: Thursday 19 February, 2015 venue tbc |
